Office Manager

Reporting Relationship(s)      
Regional Branch Manager

Responsible for branch management and oversight of two office locations, providing a full range of banking services to current and prospective customers with an emphasis on business development and meeting established depository and income growth goals.


  • Provide professional customer service.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services.
  • Development of Consumer and Commercial customer relationships including Cash Management Services.
  • Supervise the Assistant Office Managers and oversight of the Customer Service Representatives for two Chambersburg Office locations.
  • Prepare and accept loan applications, ensuring all necessary information/documentation is obtained.
  • Complete account opening services and customer maintenances for new and existing customers, ensuring regulatory compliance and bank policies/procedures are followed.
  • Organize, host and attend periodic manager meetings.
  • Ability to perform front end customer service functions.
  • Complies with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Branch cash review and ordering.
  • Review and approval of branch scheduling.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of branch employees.
  • Perform customer relationship reviews on a regular basis.
  • Cross train and mentoring with Regional Branch Manager.
  • Perform growth and goal analysis and reporting.
  • Perform monthly branch audit reviews.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and career development meetings with staff.
  • Responsible for the appropriate record retention within office.
  • Community involvement.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank regulations and requirements.
  • Responsible for branch facilities and proper operation of bank equipment.
  • Periodic internal branch compliance testing.
  • Adheres to BSA policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and disputes.
  • Respond to after hour calls in regards to security and facility matters.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Community involvement and serve in a leadership role.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or are necessary.

Specialized skills or training necessary for job performance:

  • Thorough knowledge of bank services and bank products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Regulatory compliance in regards to Deposits and Loans.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
  • Self motivated and goal oriented.
  • Previous experience in business development.
  • Previous leadership and management experience.
  • Banking experience at a minimum three (3) years.
  • Public speaking and ability to communicate effectively.
